Updating My Blog On What's Been Going On Nowadays... :)

First things first I GOT ACCEPTED INTO THE ART INSTITUTE OF PHILADELPHIA! I'm still in shock from finding out. I'm 17 now! ( very cool )

But, besides that I was and will be busy for awhile until I've finished applying for scholarships and working on my FASFA this January. I'll eventually post more of my work, I would now but I'm a busy busy bee.

Got to go back to English 4 now...

Hello Everyone And Happy Friday!!!

~I feel accomplished!!!~
I know that I have fallen off the face of the earth, but I finally sent in my application for the Art Institute on November 1st so I finally got to send it out to the college that I love!!
This deserves a victory dance! Well now that our victory dance is over with...I have been very busy just being lazy, waking up early to go to school, working on projects, and signing up for scholarships. All though I did take pictures on Monday ( I think it was ) I won't be able to post them up just yet. You see my computer lost ALL of it's memory. Luckily we were able to restore the basic internet, virus blockers and what not. The sad thing is that we don't even have the Microsoft Suite or the printer installed into the computer!! Oi vey!!
But, once I've installed the printer for my mom I will post my Fall photos. :)

I've Been Gone For Quite Awhile...But! I'm Back For A Bit!!

Hey guys there won't be a "Quote of the Day" today because I just want to fill you in on what's been going on in this stressed out brain of mine.
Where to start...where to start. Well I'll be sending out my application for college tomorrow and there were some complications with getting one of my recommendation letters ( But that's a whole story that I don't even want to think about...sheesh ) moving on!! So I will definitely try to take more photos and put them up for you all to see, but for now I just want to relax for awhile and just get my mind straight. Reality is beginning to really set in ( it happens to all of us ).

The past two days I didn't update my blog for the "Quote of the Day" shenanigans so I put them up here before I forget about them (My A.D.D kicks in at moments like these ) I've been really busy running around my school getting my recommendation letters from my teachers, typing my essay ( to then get it fixed by my sister so I can retype AGAIN ), today I just filled out my application for The Art Institute of Philadelphia, I have to get my high school transcript filled out by my guidance counselor ( so then she can fax it over to the college I want to attend ), THEN I have to write my essay on my application so I can mail it out on October 31st. YAY FOR APPLYING TO COLLEGE!!! But, it will be totally worth it. So, sorry ahead of time I'll try to post another quote tomorrow.

Look At My Awesome New Camera I Found In My Attic!!!!

I thought I'd show off my new camera that I found in my attic I LOOOOVE IT!!!

It used to belong to my sister when she had to take Photography classes, but she hated them because she claims she wasn't that good :)

The photos I have of the Dominican Republic were actually taken in the resort I stayed in with family in August of 2011. It was beautiful with very generous, excited, funny people and I had tons of fun there. If I could I would definitely go again.

A week ago I was driving by with my sister on our way to get ice cream and I love the sunsets at this beach, so we pulled over and I took these three shots. Including some people that passed by (very James Bond-ish if I do say so myself ) while making the photos look nice at the same time. I took some shots of the beautiful sky over the beach, and the skate park where I always catch some awesome photos!!

I Haven't Abandoned You...Yet

Sorry I haven't been putting up photos like I promised guys I've been super busy!! I'm a senior now (Yay!) so I've been looking for colleges, visiting them, and I'll be applying soon (October soon), so as I type this I'm really SUPPOSED to be typing out my essay which I will be doing...after I'm done explaining why I fell off the face of the earth for a month...or two. I haven't updated for a while...Oh, Well

I was away for two weeks in P.R. visiting my grandparents so that means that I didn't have a computer or internet what so ever to use. Plus when I literally landed in New York the day I got back  I headed straight for Philly to check out an art college I really want to go to (and I was procrastinating along the way after that so I never really got on my blog to put stuff up.) Yeah, It was horrible, BUT I took plenty of photos that I will be posting up soon for you to see. Bare with me I have to get the other chip I had...long story...So by the time I actually have time to put the photos through photo shop and fix them up a bit, post them up here it will be possibly in a week. School is starting soon so I will be ridiculously busy since I am a senior in high school now. Stick with me I will be posting soon. Promise.

The photos I promised!!!

These photos were taken in New Haven, CT. I chose to work with grafitti today because I've always wanted to work with something that's out there and pops out to the human eye whether it's walking or driving by. The colors that the artists choose are bright and the technique used for spray painting is amazing I wouldn't be able to be as talented as any other grafitti artist.

Grafitti on a metal pole ( I think this was probably my favorite to see besides the HUGE grafitti art that were on the other walls. Three walls to be exact...on a busy street. :) )

Welcome to my blog!!!! I will be sharing my recent photos with you until I've made a plan of how I will reach my ultimate goal. My goal on this blog is to INSPIRE. Yes, inspiration is one of the many reasons, but I refuse to make my blog boring with the long list of my many other reasons. If my photos don't give you just a little inspiration then I'll just have to work twice maybe fifty times as hard.
